Flora & Faunas

Sweet wild flower
Cataloochee National Park has reintroduced over 100 elk into the park and we saw 11 of them. How cool that we were able to see over 10% of those reintroduced. They were amazing.

Catepillars were everywhere.
The cabin we stayed in belongs to my mom's first cousin's wife's dad. Did you get that? So we got the scoop from him on some of the locals. These turkeys are owned by a man who accidentally killed the mama turkey and felt bad for all the little turkeys so brought them home. Now they wander around his yard.
