Anna's Actual B-day

Last week we took Anna to the little airport near our house for lunch.
She enjoyed a grill cheese sandwich.

This was one restaurant where she was entertained the whole time by the airplanes and one helicopter.

The cool birthday girl

Chilling out after the trip to the airport.
A special thanks to Bethany for letting us use her video camera while I was waiting for my new camera lens to arrive. It was so nice being able to take some photos on Anna's birthday lunch with the video camera.

Anna's 2nd B-day Party

Delighting in everyone singing Happy Birthday to her. This girl loves her family and friends!

The group shot right before my camera fell to floor and the lense broke. :(

Round two of everyone singing Happy Birthday to her!

We celebrated Anna's b-day the weekend before her birthday so my dad could be there. He has knee replacement surgery tomorrow and won't be up for a party next weekend. So glad it all came together last minute!
Bryan's favorite toy for Anna.
At this stage it's all about Mommy & Daddy opening the gifts.

Yum!

Hilarious that the brothers came dressed alike! You'd never guess they are related!

A picture with them all together! Chloe's excited about the GA game coming on!

The two girls born three weeks apart!

Chowing down on pizza! What can be better!

Pigtails!

She looked so cute I couldn't post just one picture!

Croquette Anyone?

Divine Appts

Bryan & I with Paul & Michelle

I love going places when you know the Lord is sending you. Our time at The Call was great. We loved standing in agreement with the saints in worship and prayer! And the Lord opened the door for some divine appointments for us. We met with Paul & Michelle, a couple we first heard about through our adoption consultant's blog in '09 when they adopted their daughter. We felt an immediate connection with them - first, because of adoption but secondly, through their kindred spirits. Love how this happens! I've never cold called anyone so this was a first but definitely the Lord. They prayed for us and they also connected us to the guy who heads up the House of Prayer (HOP) at their church and his wife that works with him. They prayed with us! Then they introduced us to their pastor and his wife from The Rock of Roseville, the church we attended and felt so at home at when out in California the first time to adopt Anna. They prayed with us, too. And finally the guy that initially started their HOP at their church who has since moved from California to start a HOP in Liberty, Kansas was also at The Call. He prayed with us. These meetings happened effortlessly which seems to show how it was the Lord. A huge thanks to Paul & Michelle for standing with us and their willingness to ask for prayer on our behalf. Can't say I've ever gone cross country to a place to pray. In faith, I am anticipating the Lord doing great things in our lives and our nation!

The Lone Cypress

Smiling like Anna
Our driving through Pebble Beach was amazing! The fog rolled in as we got to the Lone Cypress but think it made it look all the more lonely!

Lunch in Monterey

The view
We seriously had the best lunch EVER - both scenery and taste wise!
