Anna's Picnic Party

We couldn't of asked for a more perfect afternoon to have Anna's party outside.

And Anna LOVES her new swingset.

If it wasn't for Grandpa along with some help from Bryan, the kids wouldn't have had much entertainment but they finished putting it together in the nick of time. The kids has a BLAST! THANKS Grandpa and Bryan!

Her Birthday Buddies

Party Decor

The details all came together for the decor. The fabric on the table was loaned to me by my friend, Elizabeth. And then I designed the ant silhouettes since there were no cute graphics out there. Ants and picnics go hand in hand.

Thanks to my friend, Bethany, I was inspired to make pom poms.

My mom found the adorable bug box party favors and plastic ants to go inside. I enhanced them with labels. We went for bug boxes since Anna is all about bugs - Anna the entomologist.

Lunch at the Airport

We met Michael & Evan for lunch at the restaurant by our local airport on Anna's actual birthday.

One happy 3 year old!

This bi-plane made their day!

Rocking the side-pony. Her favorite way to wear her hair!

Evan's expression was priceless as he saw a plane coming in for landing.

The two cousins conversed throughout the entire lunch. Their excitement level seemed greater than being at Chuck E. Cheese - plus the adults could appreciate the cuisine. ;)

We're in Love!

Our new niece, Ellie, has melted our heart!
We're all smitten with her. Who couldn't love this little bundle!
Even Anna has named one of her baby dolls after her.

She worked hard on doing "3" with her fingers. She's double checking here to make sure she did it right.

A Sight to Behold

Pictures do not do it justice especially today as the flags stretched out in the brisk breeze displaying each star and stripe. Thank you Kennesaw Mountain for this moving memorial!

Young Patriot

"Wow! Look at all the flags!"

Reflective Moment

"Oh say can you see by the dawns early light..."

Score

We scored big with her $4 pool!
Daddy rigged up the slide and she was in heaven. Splash!!!

One happy chickadee!

Purple Socks!

There are those days when mommy doesn't get much say in what is worn especially the purple socks. She was so proud of them.

My Sweetie!

I love this little face!

Bethany's Baptism

A few weeks ago we went to see my dad baptize my niece, Bethany. The night before we went I sat down to write her a note and shared my favorite scripture verse from my highschool years -

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able
to test and approve what God's will is -His good, pleasing and acceptable
will.

When we got to church they had the service centered around Romans 12:1-2. I was amazed! My dad went on to tell my niece before baptizing her that this is her scripture! What a sweet moment! God has great plans in store for my niece!
