Thanks on Thursday
In light of having jury duty this week I have to say that I am grateful for the judicial system in my state (as well as country) and the fact that one of the state superior court judges told us on Monday that he would not sacrifice justice for the sake of the jurors' convenience so we could get in and out as quickly as possible. God bless our judges!
It's not every day that I sit back and think about the three branches our of government but our forefathers were brilliant! Only divine intervention could have inspired them to come up with these.

Thanks on Thursday
This might sound simple but I've found myself on numerous occasions grateful for my garbage service. After traveling to a few developing nations I realize how blessed I am to have weekly or twice weekly trash pickup.

18 Month Little Celebration
She officially weighs 21 1/4 lbs and is 30 1/2" long. And she started saying "no" about a month ago. Doesn't she know she has 6 months until that starts?! But at least it is a cute sing-songy "no" for now!

Thanks of Thursdays
The simple things in life can make all the difference like the park exactly 1.5 miles away from my house. The ENTIRE family has free fun. Bryan, Winston and I enjoy the walking the path. Anna enjoys the slides, swings and woodchips at the playground as well as the wideopen space where she can run till her little hearts content. (Then she takes an awesome naps afterwards). And Winston even has the dogpark option where he can hang with the big dogs. No little dogs are allowed in his area - afterall, his knees shake at the sight of those teeny dogs. So today I am thankful for the park and the fact that an old farmer decided to leave it the city when he passed away!
