The day after my last update I spoke with our CA social worker. She informed us that they are having to take furlough days weekly because of the state's economy. Needless to say there is a backlog and the normal 45 days she has to do the investigation is obsolete. We now have no time frame to work with in light of our adoption being finalized. If we come to mind, please pray that we will have favor with the state of California and our case might miraculously be expedited. Also, our social worker needs Anna birth certificate. It was sent off for but she still has not received it.
