Post can be boring without a picture so here's one of Anna with her Uncle Stephen.After losing all our paperwork California finally assigned us a social worker. The Friday before we left for vacation we mailed off a load of paperwork to her. She has 45 days to complete an investigation of our adoption and after that goes through the state said it would be 180 days until the adoption is finalized. We won't have to go back to California for the finalization though. Our attorney will stand in for us. Originally our goal was to have the adoption finalized by Anna's first birthday but such is life. We just want it finalized!
