Why Anna Kathryn?

We never explained why we picked the name Anna Kathryn. Probably over six years ago we had this name set in our minds for our first little girl. We got "Anna" from the New Testament and loved the fact that she was a woman of great passion and dedicated to the house of God as well as set her face to see the Lord in person before she died. We believe that today there are many people in the church that could potentially be like Anna of the New Testament but see the Lord upon His second return. We hope and pray that our Anna has a heart like the Anna in the scriptures. We have even noticed in her early three months of life that she is one with great passion from her feedings times to her play time. She has the heights of emotions. Anna means gracious and nothing fits a little lady more than graciousness.

We also picked "Kathryn" for a middle name since this is both my middle name as well as my mother-in-laws and amazingly with so many ways to spell it we both spell ours the same. We loved the meaning of Kathryn which is pure. Believing this to be a heritage from her mom and grandmother, we also pray this for her life.

My sis named her daughter Anna Catherine, so it's a special name for us as well (however it's spelled!).

Anna, be blessed with grace, purity, passion, prayer, & prophecy. May you be a forerunner and may you see the face of Christ & be a 'glory girl'.

She is SOOO pretty, Angie!
