(Oh, ignore the writing on the bib. Someone else gave me the bib and I didn't notice what it said until weeks after having it but all bibs must be used to save on laundry detergent, water and the mom's energy. Not trying to be vain.)
We're thrilled about Anna's discovering her smile and hands especially putting full fits in her mouth. She uses her left hand a lot, too. I'd like having another lefty in the family! Oh, she's discovered her scream, too. But can't say we're overjoyed about that one!
Before Anna was born Bryan and I would tell anyone that we are not huge baby people but love kids. I've always loved babies once they get over 4 months and Bryan has always passed on holding other people's babies when taking trips to the hospital or to someones home after their little one was born but Anna is the exception! So many told us this is how it would be. We totally fascinated with Anna and how far she's come. Our favorite times with her are in the morning right after she wakes up and is smiling, laughing and carrying on long conversations with us. We're thrilled she's a morning person so far. Birds of a feather flock together!
Adoption Update - Before Thanksgiving we had our first post-placement visit with our social worker. Was easy as pie and not intimidating at all. We love our social worker with Hope for Adoption. GA is requiring two visits and California will use one of them. Our next visit will be in January. We're still waiting to be assigned to a California social worker and for a court date for our finalization.
