We finally got to have a girlie shower the day after the 30 days where up for the birth mom to change her mind. We didn't feel like she would but where still relieved.
(If any of you are wondering what the next step steps are, we're waiting to get placed with a social worker from California and we will have quarterly post-placement visits here at our house until the adoption is finalized which is generally 6-10 months after a baby is placed with adoptive parents. We don't have to go back to California but our attorney will stand before the judge on our behalf. In addition Georgia is having us do two post-placement visits.)
